Pick up the nearest book of 123 pages or more: The book is Someday by Karen Kingsbury. I'm trying to make more time to read for fun and this was my reading last night. It's light Christian fiction, but full of beautiful words.
Find Page 123: flip, flip, flip......
Find the first 5 sentences: 'k here we go......1, 2, 3, 4, 5......
Post the next three sentences: "Ashley had found it in the box of letters in her parents' closet and thought it was for Brooke, the only firstborn they'd known up to that point. Instead, Ashley read it and realized it was directed toward a son, a brother she'd never known. i graduated in 2002, which probably means we only overlapped one year because of that internship year that you folks do. well, maybe we overlapped two years. my brain is fuzzy trying to figure it out.
i sort of want to send the little, energetic lutheran man the long blog post of a year ago, but i'm afraid the blog name will offend him. i mean no offense by it. this is just how i remember him. glad you think it is a good blog name. how lucky you are that he preached your ordination! we are talking about k.h. right?
